Chandramukhi 2 is out in theatres now and is receiving widespread praise from fans and viewers. They believe that the makers and actors Raghava Lawrence and Kangana Ranaut have done justice to the sequel. What's even more special is the heartfelt appreciation they received from legendary actor Rajnikanth, who surprised them with a long emotional note. Lawrence, ecstatic after receiving the letter from the veteran, shared it on his Twitter account. Interestingly, the veteran actor didn't include Kangana's name in his letter and didn't acknowledge her role in Chandramukhi 2. Furthermore, when it comes to her performance in the film, some Tamil audiences and critics have been critical of her role, stating that she didn't leave a positive impression on them with her appearance in the movie. On the other hand, Raghava was thrilled to act alongside Kangana and expressed his admiration and respect for her National Award-winning acting skills in the interviews. However, her role in Chandramukhi 2 has received mixed reviews and Rajnikanth's omission of her name in his appreciation letter is causing quite a stir on social media of late.


The main cast of Chandramukhi 2 includes Raghava Lawrence, Kangana Ranaut, and Lakshmi Menon, supported by a talented ensemble including Vadivelu reprising his original role, along with actors like Raadhika Sarathkumar, Mahima Nambiar, Srushti Dange, Rao Ramesh, Subiksha Krishnan, and more. Directed by P Vasu, the film had a good start but saw a significant drop in box office earnings on the second day, making over Rs 12 crore in its first two days, according to Sacnilk.com.
